HOW TO
correctly insert your Alary®
With clean hands, place your thumb and index finger on each side of the bridge. Wings should face up, legs down. Place the wings in your nostrils and push slightly upwards to push the Alary® in place.
When removing your Alary®, wash with mild soap and lukewarm water only. Leave to air dry out of direct sunlight.
What is Alary®?
Alary® means «wing-shaped» and refers to the nostrils, «the alar part of the nose».
Alary® opens the narrowest part of the nose and prevents the nostrils from pulling inwards (collapsing) when airflow increases during exercise. This allows for 100% nasal breathing during intense physical activity.
Nasal breathing provides health benefits and can lead to increased breathing comfort, enhanced O2 uptake in the lungs, and potentially improved endurance and performance.
Feedback during the test phase indicates increased breathing comfort in general, but also less irritation in the airways from cold winter air, and reduced mouth dryness when exercising outdoors. Indoor tests performed with equal load on the treadmill shows lower heart rate and breathing frequency with nose breathing using Alary®, compared to mouth breathing without Alary®.
Anyone using the correct size Alary® will feel an instant improvement in nasal airflow during exercise. Persons with constant light nasal congestion (stuffy nose) will experience instant improvement also during restitution and rest.

What is the difference between Alary® Active and Alary® Rest?
Alary® Active is developed to give your nostrils the support needed to keep your nose open during physical activity and exercise that causes a significant increase in respiratory rate, such as when going for a run.
Alary® Rest is made from softer material and is developed to be comfortable to wear over longer periods of time, such as during the night.

Our Story
The idea behind Alary® came to life while our founder Dr. Oddvin Bjørge treated patients as an Ear-Nose-Throat specialist and surgeon. With 20+ years experience from hospitals in Norway, he had seen the need for a product that could help people optimize their breathing, especially during exercise.
He made the first prototype in his own ENT clinic in Ålesund, Norway, and won a prestigious competition for entrepreneurs called Næringsteft based on his prototype only.
During this process he created a strong team with colleague Dr. Håvar Løseth, also a specialist and surgeon with 20+ years experience in the fields of ENT and plastic surgery, and C. Dyb with extensive commercial and international experience.
With help from Norwegian industrial designers at Inventas AS in Trondheim, Norway, we are now able to present a product that will give you instant free breath:

FAQs
Alary® is a nosewing stabilizer developed and designed to support your nosewings and improve nasal airflow.
Alary® Active is developed to support your nosewings and improve nasal airflow during
physical activity, while Alary® Rest has the same purpose during restitution and/or sleep. The two varieties look similar, but Alary® Rest is made from a slightly softer material that is comfortable to use over a long period of time, such as during the night.
Size M and/or L will fit most men.
Size S and/or M will fit most women.
If in doubt, choose the smaller of the two.
Size XS is for juniors or small adult noses.
Your Alary® is somewhat adjustable in all directions. Height and width of wings and legs can be adjusted to make your Alary® smaller or bigger, and the wings can be slightly tilted to find the right angle for your nose.
Increase the height of your Alary®. This will in most cases provide a better fit.
It takes a few weeks for the brain to adjust to better nose breathing, and most new users will experience removing their Alary® by accident during sleep some nights. As the brain adjusts to better nose breathing, this will most likely stop happening within a few weeks of use. In case this happens several times, please make sure that your Alary® has enough height to fit properly.
When removing your Alary®, wash with mild soap and lukewarm water only. Leave to air dry in its case, out of direct sunlight.
Alary® is a personal product and should not be shared with anyone else for hygienic reasons.
Alary® is a personal product, but you can still exchange it if the consumer packaging is unopened.

Yes, you can change your mind and return the Alary® within 14 days after receiving your order. Alary® is a personal product, which means that the consumer packaging must remain unopened and the stickers cannot be broken or removed when returned.
